Actually i think the fuel price increase won't affect those people who can afford a Beamer coz' usually it is the maintainance cost that will make the wallet bleed big time.
I think they need to make cars like they do in Flintstones.

Hey falcon...actually you can consider a donkey you know...it feeds on grass...so it wud be very cheap...except for one thing...it can be stubborn sometimes...so gotta put up with it...other than that, it'd be good transportation...
